New York / Sri State area was blasted with torrential rains causing a late start to my typical friday throwdown set time window. I started a wee bit later just past 9 out to midnight in the BASSMint. I embarked on a Dark EBM Electro Acid Industrial Fueled mix with a light hint of alt-pop.
Playing this set was super fun as all these tracks were NEW to my collection over the past few days, weeks or months that I’ve been wanting to explore some of the newer edgier EBM sounds from the past 10 years or so. The sound is certainly more modern compared to the 80’s/Early 90’s Industrial sound and I think my only gripe from this current slate is there are not enough obscure film sample references. I really like having those in tracks. The tracks that featured some vocals are decent. Anyway, give this set a listen and I’m willing to bet you come away liking a few of these Tracks!
