Techno Start before heading into 80s New Wave
2 hrs and 46 minutes.
It has been several weeks since my last opportunity to conduct a Friday Throwdown. Between some concerts (House of Love) and work duties… I just have not been able to regularly get to the decks for my end of week Detox, Decompress and Get Down time. Was good to be back. A bit rusty in my mixes I’d say with the time and focus have been off.
Started with some Electro Techno Housey Detroit vibes..for almost the 1st full hour.. and then I just decided to go down an 80s New Wave Path… I had a some active dialog in my work slack channel #the-friday-throwdown where several co-workers got into the name that band/tune guessing game.. who could it get it right first. I always like that.
Luckily for me.. the stream was just about to finish when the computer just flat up decided to freeze up and crash on the last song… KLFs Justified and Ancient.. perhaps it was a sign that I should not have dipped my toe into the 1990’s.. That set is for another day.
