This Weekend, I was able to do a small social gathering with some close family friends and was invited to drop by with some records. Mervinator typically plays Saturday evenings 5-7 pm ET with funk, breaks, soul, 80s and Indie vibes on Twitch.  We played close to 3 hours trading off about every 2 records. Mostly 80s at first, but we eventually break out of that decade to hit some Early 90s, Breaks, House & Industrial. The challenge for me was learning how to play off some Vestax turntables that I had not ever used before. Different feel from the Technics 1200, I think I made a few respectable mixes… Great fun hanging outside of my home for a change of pace.
